Canine Chiropractic & Acupuncture with Gretchen Ham Gretchen Ham was graduated from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 with an interest in lameness. Early on in her twelve years working at horse racing tracks she became aware of the limits of traditional veterinary medicine and began her search of alternative therapies. She became certified by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 1990 and the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 1997. Since 1998 her practice has been limited to canine and equine acupuncture and chiropractic. Gretchen feels that both of these modalities greatly compliment traditional medicine and should not be used as replacements. Typically chiropractic and acupuncture cases involve subtle lamenesses, asymmetries, and energy imbalances that often go unnoticed. When such issues are corrected early in the course of disease future problems can often be prevented. Gretchen lives in Milford, NH with her partner Patti, their son Garrett, and two dogs Gretchen comes to Riverside once a month for appointments.
