Lauri Baker Lauri (better known as "Lo") has been involved with dogs for almost 30 years. She has been a high level agility competitor since 1994 and has enjoyed teaching agility classes and private lessons for the past 15 years. Lo shares her home with her husband George and 3 dogs. Kava is an 11 year old Australian Cattle Dog, who has earned her USDAA ADCH and AKC MACH titles. In 2000, Kava and Lo were top 10 finalists at the AKC Nationals. Kava was the #1 AKC Cattle Dog in agility for the year 2000 and the # 1 Cattle Dog in agility for the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America in 2001. Kava has also appeared on Animal Planets "Pet Star". Kava is still trialing now at the performance level in USDAA and championship level in AKC. Lo also has a 5 year old Border Collie named Perk. ADCH Perk is a two time USDAA National Grand Prix Finalist and was the Grand Prix and Steeplechase winner of the 2006 Northeast Regional. Later that year, she placed on the podium with Lo in second place at the USDAA Nationals in Grand Prix. Perk had 2007 off due to an injury and came back in great form in 2008. She was handled by both George and Lo at the 2008 USDAA Nationals and was seated first going into Steeplechase finals and was seated 3rd going into Grand Prix semi's beating 100's of dogs. Perk and Lo have won multiple local tournaments and is an amazing team to watch. Tony (handled by George), their 3 year old Border Collie has won many local Grand Prix and Steeplechase and achieved his ADCH quickly. He placed 4th in 2007 in Steeplechase Finals at only 2 years old and a year later went back and made the podium placing 2nd in 2008. Lo is fortunate enough to run Tony while George works in Japan. Lo has written articles for Clean Run and was also featured in the same magazine in "On Course with Lo Baker". She maintains a very positive approach with teaching both her human and canine students. Both Lo and George operate BARK Agility in New Hampshire. They hold summer camps (now in its 7th year) and host 4 USDAA trials a year. You can say their lives have gone to the dogs and they are loving every minute of it.
