Riverside Canine Center will be hosting Chris Cranston, MPT, CCRP and Amy Campbell, CSAMT, CPDT-KA on Saturday, October 27th as they present their Canine Muscle and Joint Workshop. Chris and Amy are partnering to teach owners techniques from the canine physical therapy and massage therapy worlds that can be used at home to improve the wellness and longevity of your dog. During this workshop you will learn to:

• Identify any potential problems early to prevent injury or chronic issues
• Better understand your dogs anatomy and physiology
• Assess weakness, tightness, and motion restrictions in your dog
• Develop an action plan when a struggle arises
• Apply massage and other hands-on techniques
• Employ exercises to stretch tight muscles and strengthen weak muscles to achieve better body balance and ease of movement

Chris and Amy have helped hundreds of dogs live healthier, longer lives through their physical therapy and massage techniques, come learn their secrets.

Mary Jolly, CCFT is coming to Riverside for a Fit Paws Canine Conditioning Seminar. If you’ve ever wanted to learn all about the Fit Paws equipment and how to use it, canine conditioning, and how to warm-up, cool down and stretch your down safely and effectively, you’ll want to attend this seminar.

There will be 15 working spots (with a dog) and 5 spots for auditors (without a dog). We’ll also have handouts to take home, fun and games, and a raffle for Fit Paws equipment and workout cards.

Requirements:

• Dog must be free from injury to attend
• Dogs 18 months and older can have complete exercise program
• Dogs under 18 months, can participate, but have no exercise program

Riverside has added two additional seminars with Jen Pinder to our 2017 calendar. Next year, Jen will be not only be at Riverside for her March seminars (Sorry, folks they’re full!), but will also be returning in November. She will be holding two two-day seminars on November 3rd-4th and 5th-6th.
